Cricket Teas – Guidelines

- Purchase of teas should cost no more than £22.50 (excluding stock items)
- A receipt is needed to claim back the money you have spent which can be done before the game from the captain
- Teas should not be purchased before the day of the game in case the game has to be called off – if in doubt please contact the relevant captain
- When purchasing teas please bear in mind the likely weather (e.g. in hot weather more orange squash will be needed and chocolate biscuits might melt)
- As we have no facilities for washing up, mugs and tumblers need to be packed into the boxes and given to the next person on the rota – it is then their responsibility to get these washed as soon as possible.

Stock items - These items should always be with the tea kit. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient supplies of these. If additional items are required then they can be purchased and reclaimed along with the cost of the teas. Please remember though not to buy premium items as the club has to fund these. The more money spent by the club then the higher the match fees will be. The stock items are as follows:
- cling film
- paper plates
- sugar
- tea bags
- orange squash
- J cloths
- bin bags

Teas - You have all eaten a cricket tea so should roughly know what we regularly have but as a guideline the following should help:
- 4 loaves of medium sliced bread (not Tesco value)
- Margarine
- Sandwich fillings - anything you desire but please ensure you include vegetarian options (eg Egg & mayonnaise (6 eggs to fill 1 loaf of bread), Cheese, Cheese and Pickle, Ham and tomato, Sausage, etc)
- Milk (2 pints)
- Crisps (2 or 3 packets)
- Sausage rolls and/or savoury nibbles
- Selection of cakes
- Fruit (optional)

Remember not to spend more than £22.50 (excluding stock items) and keep your receipt as you cannot be refunded without it!
