2004 Festival of Cricket

There was a good turnout for the first ever Bar Hill Festival of Cricket
It was based on three teams competing in a Twenty-20 style tournament, hence the sound system
Barry Driver wore the prototype of the new Bar Hill shirt
The day started with the imaginatively named 'Team 1'
playing the equally imaginatively named 'Team 2'
Team 1 post 107 for 4 off their 20 overs
but Team 2 run out of wickets on 64
Team 2's punishment is to play Team 3
Despite losing wickets Team 2 manage to post 106 this time
A David Rush hat-trick reduces Team 3 to 50 all out
If you have any photos from any Cricket Club events please mail them to webmaster@barhillcricket.org.uk and any good ones will be added.

As the decider between Team 1 & Team 3 gets underway the storm clouds gather

After taking the players off for rain the umpires discuss whether to go out again
Before they can make a decision the rain hammers down again washing out the rest of the days play
